  • Zero metal contact by design: The drum is manufactured as a one-piece integrated MC nylon / PA66 molding with no metal lining, no metal joints and no stainless steel bonding layer. Material contacts only nylon and non-metallic grinding media throughout the process, completely blocking the introduction of Fe, Cr and Ni ions. Compared with stainless steel cylinders, iron impurities in processed powder can be reduced by 100–1000 times.
  • Elastic buffering that protects crystal morphology: With a Shore D hardness of only 75–80, the nylon drum acts as an elastic buffer between grinding media and powder. This prevents over-fragmentation and lattice defects in soft ceramic precursors such as barium titanate and PZT, preserves particle sphericity and reduces hard agglomeration in ultrafine powders.
  • Process compatibility: The drum resists ethanol, isopropanol, deionized water and weak organic dispersants, making it fully compatible with mainstream wet dispersion and ultrafine grinding processes used in ceramic slurry preparation.
  • Clean and efficient operation: The smooth, pore-free inner wall rinses clean with pure water or ethanol, minimizing cross-contamination between batches and material types. Nylon’s low density (1.15 g/cm³) makes the drum over 60% lighter than ceramic or metal of the same volume and reduces overall energy consumption by 15–20%, with low noise and low vibration suitable for clean workshops.
  • Industrial scalability: Available from QM-30L to QM-1000L (customizable up to 2000L), with 10.5–350L loading capacity per batch, drum rotation of 20–60 r/min, final fineness down to 0.1 μm (≥300 mesh) and feed sizes of ≤5 / ≤10 / ≤20 mm. Variable-frequency or fixed-speed control, automatic discharge, explosion-proof and water-cooling options are available on request.
